The Vatican, Pope Francis, and World Order

By Gary Kah.

Most of us are not competitors… We are the stakes. For the competition is about who will establish the first one-world system of government… No one can be exempted from its effects. No sector of our lives will remain untouched.

– Malachi Martin.1

Thirty years have passed since Malachi Martin, a former Vatican insider and Jesuit, drew attention to the Church of Rome’s pursuit of a one-world political system. At the time his assertions seemed over-the-top. Granted, the idea of a world government through communism wasn’t new, and there were rumblings about groups like the Trilateral Commission with designs for a new international economic order.

But the Vatican? For many people this would have seemed absurd; after all, this is an institution of old men, tired traditions, and repetitious ceremonies. And yet, the history of Vatican support for a “one world order” is well established.

For example, on April 6, 1951, Pope Pius XII met with leaders from the World Movement for World Federal Government. He told these representatives, “Your movement, Gentlemen, has the task of creating an effective political organization of the world. There is nothing more in keeping with the traditional doctrines of the Church.”2

Then in 1963, Pope John XXIII called for an international authority to deal with global problems, “equipped with world-wide power and adequate means for achieving the universal common good.”3

Later on, during Pope John Paul II’s time, there was a concerted push for global unity across numerous fronts – especially religious. Indeed, the pontiff was viewed by some as a type of international savior.4

More recently, Pope Benedict outlined a vision of internationalism in his 2009 encyclical, Caritas in Veritate. In section 67 he referenced a “world political authority” with “real teeth” connected to a global system of economic management, “to revive economies hit by the crisis.”

And then we come to the current Jesuit in power, Pope Francis. In considering his many expressions of internationalism, including his interfaith work, we will list only a few examples.

Pope Francis, Uniter in Chief

September 5, 2014: United Religions.

Former Israeli leader and globalist, Shimon Peres, met with Pope Francis at the Vatican to propose a type of United Nations for religions – a “United Religions” organization. Accordingly, the Pope “listened, showing his interest, attention, and encouragement,” but did not commit to the idea – at least not publicly.5

September 25, 2015: UN address.

During the 70th anniversary of the United Nations, Pope Francis called for an “integral ecology” while speaking to the UN – that is, a renewed international system that would be “good” for the planet and people. As one reporter commentating on the Pope’s visit noted: “While it may surprise some who are ideologically opposed to the United Nations, the Catholic Church has been a leading voice of support for the structures of global governance.”6

Since his 2015 address to the UN, Francis has been pushing more openly for transforming the existing world order into a truly global political, economic, and religious system of government. This has been the case especially during the last two years.

January 1, 2019: New Year’s Greeting to Ambassadors.

In his New Year’s greeting to ambassadors from 183 nations, Francis warned of the dangers of nationalism while reinforcing the need for more multilateralism, including a global and unified effort to combat climate change. He also pressed for a two-state solution regarding the Israeli and Palestinian issue.7

February 4, 2019: Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together.

In an unprecedented move, the Pope traveled to the United Arab Emirates to meet with Egypt’s Grand Imam Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, considered by many to be the world’s top Islamic cleric. There, they issued a document to build bridges of unity within the context of Muslim-Catholic interfaithism and “universal peace.” This document, Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together, was signed on the threshold of the “World Government Summit” in Dubai, which took place just two weeks later. Pope Francis, in his keynote address to the Summit said, “we cannot really speak of sustainable development without solidarity.” He then called upon God to bless their commitments.

September 12, 2020: Global Compact on Education address.

Addressing all of humanity, Pope Francis officially introduced his multifaceted plan to “educate” people of their need for a new global order. His Compact was originally scheduled to be unveiled last May but was postponed until fall when the Vatican believed it would receive maximum exposure prior to the second Covid wave. More on this later.

September 25, 2020: UN speech.

In his virtual address to the United Nations, the Pope negatively outlined individualism and nationalism, and called upon this globalist organization to see Covid as an opportunity: “The United Nations was established to bring nations together, to be a bridge between peoples. Let us make good use of this institution in order to transform the challenge that lies before us into an opportunity to build together, once more, the future we all desire.”8

October 2, 2020: Fratelli tutti.

Pope Francis’ encyclical, Fratelli tutti, points to Covid-19 as an event that exposed “our false securities.” Thus, we need to do more than “refine existing systems,” we need to move closer together – have a plan for everyone, “a shared roadmap.”

Part of this shared roadmap was his call for revamping the international system, including the United Nations. In section 172 he motioned for a “world authority” that would “promote more effective world organizations, equipped with the power to provide for the global common good.”

Following this, he cited Pope Benedict’s recommendation for a UN re-organization; the family of nations – equipped with “real teeth.” In recalling the words of Benedict, the Pope explained that this authority would need “clear legal limits” to avoid “power being co-opted only by a few countries.”

He then went on to advocate global social charity – that this is not utopian but an embracement of a “political charity” that is “born of a social awareness that transcends every individualistic mindset.” And this would then be part of the recalibration and reorientation of globalization.9 Moreover, this would be part of a new culture of social unity, one in which “the whole is greater than the part.”

Then, in chapter 8, he moves into religious universalism, that all religions are part of a shared spirituality: “As believers, we are convinced that, without an openness to the Father of all, there will be no solid and stable reasons for an appeal to fraternity.”

He ended the encyclical with an ecumenical prayer – another “prayer to the Creator,” “Move us to create healthier societies and a more dignified world” – and the text of his February document, Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together, co-developed by Grand Imam Ahmad Al-Tayyeb.

October 15, 2020: Launching of the Global Compact’s promotional campaign.

This virtual meeting hosted by the Vatican was little more than a formality intended to rubber-stamp the one-world agenda of Pope Francis and his global elites and to accelerate the Compact’s acceptance worldwide. The full-scale promotion of this Compact is now underway.

October 20, 2020: Appeal for Peace.

Leaders from various religions, together with the Pope, participated in the International Prayer Meeting for Peace. At this interfaith event a joint document was signed – an Appeal for Peace – stating that “no one can be saved alone: no people, no single individual!”

On this Capitoline Hill, in the wake of the greatest conflict in history, the nations that had been at war made a pact based on a dream of unity that later came true: the dream of a united Europe.  Today, in these uncertain times, as we feel the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic that threatens peace by aggravating inequalities and fear, we firmly state that no one can be saved alone: no people, no single individual!

The document continued with this universalist appeal:

All of us are brothers and sisters!  Let us pray to the Most High that, after this time of trial, there may no longer be “others”, but rather, a great “we”, rich in diversity.  The time has come to boldly dream anew that peace is possible…10

December 8, 2020: New alliance established between Pope Francis and the “Guardians for Inclusive Capitalism.”

A Vatican press release was issued announcing the pope’s ambitious partnership with a core group of global business leaders. The following is a direct quote from that release (this is huge!):

The Council for Inclusive Capitalism with the Vatican, a historic new partnership between some of the world’s largest investment and business leaders and the Vatican, launched today. It signifies the urgency of joining moral and market imperatives to reform capitalism into a powerful force for the good of humanity. Under the moral guidance of His Holiness Pope Francis and His Eminence Cardinal Peter Turkson, who leads the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development at the Vatican, and inspired by the moral imperative of all faiths, the Council invites companies of all sizes to harness the potential of the private sector to build a fairer, more inclusive, and sustainable economic foundation for the world.

The Council is led by a core group of global leaders, known as Guardians for Inclusive Capitalism, who meet annually with Pope Francis and Cardinal Turkson. These leaders represent more than $10.5 trillion in assets under management, companies with over $2.1 trillion of market capitalization, and 200 million workers in over 163 countries. The organization challenges business and investment leaders of all sizes to embrace the Council’s guiding principles and make public commitments to act on them. These collective actions are intended to lead to systemic change by making capitalism a greater force for inclusivity and sustainability…

Speaking to the Guardians, Pope Francis said, “An economic system that is fair, trustworthy, and capable of addressing the most profound challenges facing humanity and our planet is urgently needed. You have taken up the challenge by seeking ways to make capitalism become a more inclusive instrument for integral human wellbeing.”

The Guardians have already committed to hundreds of measurable actions, and Council members will make ongoing commitments to continue to advance inclusive capitalism. They will be accountable for their public commitments and invite businesses around the world to join…

“Capitalism has created enormous global prosperity, but it has also left too many people behind, led to degradation of our planet, and is not widely trusted in society,” said Lynn Forester de Rothschild, Founder of the Council and Managing Partner of Inclusive Capital Partners. “This Council will follow the warning from Pope Francis to listen to ‘the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor’ and answer society’s demands for a more equitable and sustainable model of growth.”

One reason why this is such an important development is that it gives Francis even greater influence over the world’s economy. It puts him in the driver’s seat to force far-reaching economic changes in the name of “morality, equity, and sustainable development” involving everything from the Covid response to Climate Change.

Warnings from Catholics

In light of the more visible role Pope Francis is playing in international affairs, it would be wise to take a closer look at his worldview, his ultimate goals, and others who are allied with him. Being that some politically conservative Catholics have begun to speak out against this pope, I believe it would be beneficial to hear what they are saying, as their assessment of Francis carries significant weight coming from the inside.

One prominent Catholic figure who is sounding the alarm is Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò. On October 25, 2020, only a few days before the US election, Abp. Viganò sent an urgent and very personal letter to President Trump. It was a follow up to a previous letter he had written to the President in June, in which he warned of the forces of Evil being aligned in an all-out battle against the forces of Good. As a Vatican insider who is aware of what is being planned, we should take his words seriously. Here are a few excerpts from his open letter to the President:

Daily we sense the attacks multiplying of those who want to destroy the very basis of society: the natural family, respect for human life, love of country, freedom of education and business. We see heads of nations and religious leaders pandering to this suicide of Western culture and its Christian soul, while the fundamental rights of citizens and believers are denied in the name of a health emergency that is revealing itself more and more fully as instrumental to the establishment of an inhuman faceless tyranny.

A global plan called the Great Reset is underway. Its architect is a global élite that wants to subdue all of humanity, imposing coercive measures with which to drastically limit individual freedoms and those of entire populations. In several nations this plan has already been approved and financed; in others it is still in an early stage. Behind the world leaders who are the accomplices and executors of this infernal project, there are unscrupulous characters who finance the World Economic Forum and Event 201, promoting their agenda.

The purpose of the Great Reset is the imposition of a health dictatorship aiming at the imposition of liberticidal measures, hidden behind tempting promises of ensuring a universal income and cancelling individual debt. The price of these concessions from the International Monetary Fund will be the renunciation of private property and adherence to a program of vaccination against Covid-19 and Covid-21 promoted by Bill Gates with the collaboration of the main pharmaceutical groups. Beyond the enormous economic interests that motivate the promoters of the Great Reset, the imposition of the vaccination will be accompanied by the requirement of a health passport and a digital ID, with the consequent contact tracing of the population of the entire world. Those who do not accept these measures will be confined in detention camps or placed under house arrest, and all their assets will be confiscated.

Mr. President, I imagine that you are already aware that in some countries the Great Reset will be activated between the end of this year and the first trimester of 2021. For this purpose, further lockdowns are planned, which will be officially justified by a supposed second and third wave of the pandemic. You are well aware of the means that have been deployed to sow panic and legitimize draconian limitations on individual liberties, artfully provoking a world-wide economic crisis. In the intentions of its architects, this crisis will serve to make the recourse of nations to the Great Reset irreversible, thereby giving the final blow to a world whose existence and very memory they want to completely cancel. But this world, Mr. President, includes people, affections, institutions, faith, culture, traditions, and ideals: people and values that do not act like automatons, who do not obey like machines, because they are endowed with a soul and a heart, because they are tied together by a spiritual bond that draws its strength from above, from that God that our adversaries want to challenge, just as Lucifer did at the beginning of time with his “non serviam.”…

As is now clear, the one who occupies the Chair of Peter has betrayed his role from the very beginning in order to defend and promote the globalist ideology, supporting the agenda of the deep church, who chose him from its ranks…

Around you are gathered with faith and courage those who consider you the final garrison against the world dictatorship. The alternative is to vote for a person who is manipulated by the deep state, gravely compromised by scandals and corruption, who will do to the United States what Jorge Mario Bergoglio [Pope Francis] is doing to the Church, Prime Minister Conte to Italy, President Macron to France, Prime Minster Sanchez to Spain, and so on. The blackmailable nature of Joe Biden – just like that of the prelates of the Vatican’s “magic circle” – will expose him to be used unscrupulously, allowing illegitimate powers to interfere in both domestic politics as well as international balances. It is obvious that those who manipulate him already have someone worse than him ready, with whom they will replace him as soon as the opportunity arises…

Mr. President, you are well aware that, in this crucial hour, the United States of America is considered the defending wall against which the war declared by the advocates of globalism has been unleashed. Place your trust in the Lord, strengthened by the words of the Apostle Paul: “I can do all things in Him who strengthens me” (Phil 4:13). To be an instrument of Divine Providence is a great responsibility, for which you will certainly receive all the graces of state that you need, since they are being fervently implored for you by the many people who support you with their prayers.

With this heavenly hope and the assurance of my prayer for you, for the First Lady, and for your collaborators, with all my heart I send you my blessing.

God bless the United States of America!

+ Carlo Maria Viganò

Tit. Archbishop of Ulpiana

Former Apostolic Nuncio to the United States of America

Many Christians have believed they would never see an anti-Christ world government come to fruition during their lifetime; but now, it is right at the door. Most of the world’s prominent religious figures are on board, urging their flocks to follow them blindly into a new world order that they falsely claim will usher in global peace, unity and prosperity. They have established great momentum. Except for a supernatural intervention from the Lord God, this sinister agenda – warned of long ago in the Holy Scriptures – will soon become a reality.

A Global Compact on Education

Without the support of the papacy this globalist agenda would hardly stand a chance of succeeding. But with over a billion Roman Catholics worldwide who see Pope Francis as their leader, globalists inside and outside of the Vatican believe their time has come. In order to ensure victory, they have launched a final all-out push to “educate” (i.e. convince) humanity of the “necessity” for a new global society built upon a world government structure. Pope Francis has taken the lead in this effort to re-educate mankind, introducing his comprehensive plan in September.

Catholic journalist, David Rodriguez, recognizes the pope’s globalist propaganda effort and has thoroughly researched his plan. In a special report put out by The Fatima Center in September, he warned fellow Catholics of the dangerous beliefs and pursuits of Francis. Like Archbishop Viganò, David presents a unique angle of concern about the Vatican’s activities that should bring a special awareness to Protestants and people of other faiths as well. Here are some excerpts from his report titled, “Another Disastrous Initiative: The Vatican’s Global Compact on Education.”

On September 12, 2019, Francis launched his Global Compact on Education with a message addressed to the world at large.11

Perhaps the gravest problem in Pope Francis’ address is the utter lack of reference to the supernatural dimension of the human person. Making no effort to conceal its purpose, Francis explicitly states that this project aims to create a “new humanism” and “to place the human person at the center”…

In this blasphemous endeavor, we hear an echo of that primordial temptation, “You shall be as gods” (Genesis 3:5). Every sin involves man placing himself above God.

In his address, Pope Francis never mentions the importance of…Christian morality, or even the virtue of religion. The only reference Francis makes to religion is the sacrilegious ‘Abu Dhabi’ agreement he signed with the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar on February 4, 2019. That accord presents Catholics and Muslims as believing in the same God, embraces religious indifferentism, and even erroneously claims that God wills a plurality of contradictory religions.12

Francis’ address makes no mention of the moral evils besetting our ‘culture of death’ that grossly violate the sacredness of human life and human sexuality. Instead of calling youth to be trained in the Ten Commandments and Christian morality to combat these evils, Francis calls for a “new universal solidarity” and a “more welcoming society.”…

Pope Francis also fails to emphasize the importance of objective and absolute truth. Instead, he waxes on about “constructive dialogue,” “patient listening,” and “inclusive education.” It is as if all previous Christian generations failed to grasp the truth, which a new ‘fraternal humanity’ is just now poised to discover.

As a parent, I am troubled by Pope Francis’ failure to affirm the primary responsibility and inalienable right of parents to educate their children and the singular and divine role of the Catholic Church in education. Instead of affirming these Church teachings, Francis quotes an African proverb popularized by Hillary Clinton: “It takes a whole village to educate a child.” This Marxist slogan seeks to justify the State’s usurpation of parental rights over their natural children and the Church’s rights over her spiritual children.

In addition to Pope Francis’ address, the Vatican has issued an Instrumentum Laboris, a working document that “will guide the work of the Global Compact on Education, clarifying the project, the context, the vision and the mission.”13

The document makes it plain that the Vatican’s Global Compact is a radical break from traditional Catholic teaching on education. As outlined above, God must be at the center of a truly Christian education. The Instrumentum Laboris states that the Global Compact is founded on “openness to others” and “fraternity.” St. Paul teaches that “in the name of Jesus every knee should bow” (Philippians 2:10) but the Vatican now assures us that “‘Together’ is the word that saves and achieves everything.”

The Instrumentum Laboris mentions God and Jesus 8 times in total, but refers to fraternity, the Earth and the environment 36 times…

Revolutionaries always seek to control the education of youth, which enables them to indoctrinate people in their formative years when they are most malleable.

The goal of Pope Francis’ Global Compact on Education appears to be a worldwide educational system controlled by international organizations, financed by billionaires, and directed by the global elites who promote secular humanism.

The list of those who are supporting this initiative is frightening: Jeffrey Sachs (economist and population control advocate whose biggest financial backer is George Soros), Bill Gates, Jack Ma (China’s richest man), Greta Thunberg, UNESCO and other agencies of the UN, the Islamic Development Bank, and the International Monetary Fund, among others…14

They promote ‘population control’ by abortion, contraception, and sterilization. They support all the efforts of Agenda 21,15 which involves invasive and tyrannical control over nearly every aspect of people’s lives under the guise of ‘protecting the environment.’ Lastly, they share a purely naturalistic worldview that denies supernatural grace, man’s eternal destiny, and the very existence of God, the Author and Source of all life.

Pope Francis and other Church leaders are scandalously and tragically using their positions, resources, and missionary network to try to convert the children of the world…to the secular humanism of those who wish to usher in a New World Order under a one-world government. Truly, the errors of Russia have spread throughout the world and have infected the highest levels of the Catholic Church.

Other conservative Catholics are finding it increasingly difficult to remain silent about Pope Francis’ radical agenda. However, most Catholics as well as Protestants – and those of other religions – are poised to accept the pope’s proposed changes. The greatest deception in the history of mankind is upon us. What is perhaps most troubling to me is that so much of this is moving forward in the name of Christ. Catholic and Protestant leaders are often advancing the new world order under the banner of Christianity – as if this is what Jesus would want if He was on Earth.

However, in His Olivet Discourse, Jesus repeatedly warned His followers – especially those living near the end of the age (that’s us!) – that there would be tremendous deception on a scale never before seen. He also made clear that much of this deceit would be perpetrated by those who use His name but are not of Him. Consider these words of Jesus:

Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, “I am the Christ,” and will deceive many…

Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people…

For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now – and never to be equaled again…At that time if anyone says to you, “Look, here is the Christ!” or, “There he is!” do not believe it. For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect – if that were possible. See, I have told you ahead of time.

– Matthew 24:4-5, 9-11, 21, 23-25

These prophetic warnings of Jesus to His end-times followers are echoed or repeated in many other passages throughout the writings of Paul, Peter and John (including much of the book of Revelation). So none of the current disturbing developments should surprise us. Rather, our faith should be strengthened as we recognize once again that the prophecies of Scripture are reliable and true – as is the rest of God’s Word.

At a time when we face such great uncertainty in our nation and world, we must be careful not to place our hope in men; rather we must place our trust in the Lord God who holds the future in His hands. Jesus is our light and shield and wants to be our source of stability and peace – the peace that passes understanding. He alone is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6), because only He can offer true security; only He holds the key to eternity. As we remind ourselves of this ageless truth, may we draw ever closer to the Savior in obedience and devotion to Him.

Have You Trusted Jesus as Savior?

God loves mankind – his greatest creation. His perfect will is for all to be saved and none to be lost (John 3:15-18, 5:24). However, He makes clear that only those who have accepted (believed in) His divine Son, Jesus Christ, will be spared from the punishment of hell and will spend eternity with Him (Matthew 10:28 & II Peter 2:4-10).

If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, you must believe that Jesus is who He says He is and that He paid the penalty for your sins with His death on a cross. Accept His free gift of eternal life which He can offer because He conquered death through His resurrection. Then, with the help of His Holy Spirit, turn from your old ways of living (repent) and follow Him. Take a moment and tell the Lord that you desire to receive Him into your life and ask His Holy Spirit to dwell inside of you and lead you into all truth.

Once you have settled this most important matter, be devoted in your relationship with the Lord. Spend time with Him by reading His Word (the Bible) and talking to Him (praying) daily. As you grow in His grace, He will direct you and open doors showing you how best to serve Him. With Jesus at the helm, your life and eternity are secure in His care. No situation or power of the enemy will be able to separate you from the love of Christ!

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?… No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

—Romans 8:35, 37-39
