It doesn’t matter what President Trump does, he can’t catch a break. No matter what successes he achieves, he receives no credit whatsoever from the leftist media, the Washington bureaucrats, the “International Community,” or the talking heads from the so-called “intellectual circles” within our liberal universities. They bash him every chance they get. It’s gotten to the point where it is truly ridiculous!
If the President came up with a cure for cancer, they’d somehow berate him for not putting more resources toward fighting Alzheimer’s. He simply cannot win; at least not in the eyes of the Establishment, more commonly referred to as the “Deep State” by Conservatives.
Why is this? Other than the fact that they absolutely hate and despise the man, members of the Deep State hold to a worldview that is completely contrary to the one which the President has come to believe in. The Deep State is composed of globalists who support the concept of open borders and a socialist one-world system of government that would regulate our lives. As far as religion is concerned, the Deep State consists mostly of secular as well as new age humanists who believe that man is the greatest gift to himself (even though they think he “evolved” out of “primordial soup”). Many of them believe that mankind will soon experience a final leap of evolution, where individuals will literally become their own godlike transhuman saviors of the planet. Among these individuals, morality (what is right and wrong) is determined by a majority consensus, at least for now.
Will calamity descend on Wall Street?
Eventually, this group will accept adult sex with children as normal behavior – as long as the child willingly agrees to it. How do I know this? When man elevates himself to godhood and makes his own rules – rejecting the commands and cultural norms that God has established for our own good because He loves us – sin and wickedness know no bounds. Depraved hearts and minds will spiral down a path of self-indulgence where anything goes – unless, of course, it somehow violates their own personal comfort zone.
The fact is, every society, culture, and empire that has rejected God as their Creator, has eventually come to ruin. Ultimately the people become slaves to sin and their own evil desires and are finally overtaken and destroyed by merciless dictators. History is littered with such examples (Babylon, Egypt, Greece, Rome – and Nazi Germany, etc.). Unfortunately, it will happen again, this time on a global scale, when the Antichrist comes to power (Revelation 13 &14). Yes, the pursuit of sin and selfish indulgence has dire consequences!
While this President doesn’t fit into the category of being a spiritual giant in the faith, to his credit, he has increasingly aligned himself with the Christian worldview on many of the important issues of our time. He has appointed nearly 50 conservative federal judges who are likely to uphold our Christian rights and freedoms, respect our Constitution, and defend the sovereignty of our nation in their rulings. Thus far, he has embraced and promoted common sense Christian values and causes more than any president in recent memory. In the process, he has begun to undo what the new world order crowd has carefully put in place over several decades. The President openly defends our nation’s sovereignty and opposes the move toward global governance. In short, we are witnessing a direct clash between two completely opposing worldviews.
President Trump has been under more political and personal attack from his globalist deep-state adversaries than perhaps any president in US history. Their efforts to obstruct all of his pursuits have been relentless. It’s as if he is having to run a race with steel balls and chains wrapped around his ankles and one hand tied behind his back. Yet, against all odds and in the face of brazen hostility, he has somehow managed to get much accomplished.
Diplomatic talks are moving forward with North Korea. The US economy is thriving, with 3.8 percent unemployment and 6.3 million job openings. Only months ago, leading financial gurus said the US economy would never again exceed a growth rate of 2.5 percent. Last quarter we grew at 4 percent, and this quarter could approach 5 percent. Still, Trump receives no credit from the visible puppets of the Deep State. Instead, the Russia collusion witch hunt continues and the border crisis – unfairly blamed on Trump – dominates the daily headlines; even though some of the same conditions existed under the Obama administration. Where was the media then?
The fact is, the socialist deep-state obstructionists don’t know what to do with Trump. If past presidents stepped out of line against their one-world, anti-Christian agenda, they applied a little pressure and the presidents would quickly fall back in line. But when they attack Trump, he hits them back twice as hard, exposing them for what they are. The one-world, deep-state Establishment has never faced anyone like him. He has become a major thorn in their side. They’ve thrown just about everything in their political arsenal at the man and yet he keeps moving his MAGA agenda forward.
Stopping Trump
So, what comes next? What will they do to try to stop him from further unraveling their new world order plans? They’ve opposed him and tried to discredit him in every imaginable way, yet he is gaining in the polls – due, I believe, to the vibrant economy and a growing number of independent swing voters getting tired of the non-stop negative attacks from the Left. If by chance the midterm elections were to actually swing in Trump’s direction, with conservative Republicans gaining seats in both the House and Senate, the President would be able to cause much more damage to the globalists’ agenda between now and the 2020 election. They are determined not to let that happen.
In my humble opinion, as one who has personally witnessed the sinister nature of some of the deep-state insiders, I believe they will attempt to collapse the stock market between now and the midterms. If they were to succeed, it would deal a huge blow to the Trump administration which would be blamed for the crisis by the leftist media.
How could they pull this off? I believe they will do whatever possible to manipulate the President’s genuine efforts to establish fair trade policies for the US by fanning the flames of an all-out trade war. If China or several other industrialized nations were to retaliate with additional tariffs on US products, things could rapidly spin out of control. The fact that many of the leaders of the “Free World” are already on board the new world order train and are strongly influenced by socialist/globalist forces does not bode well for the US – or the world for that matter. If they band together to oppose Trump on the issue of trade by retaliating tit for tat, the stock market, which is already overdue for a correction, could quickly plummet.
There is little doubt the powers-that-be will push a trade war in order to crash the economy and place the blame on Trump. This would accomplish two of their purposes: It would diminish Trump’s effectiveness during his next two years while providing momentum for a far-left political backlash in upcoming elections. Secondly, and of equal importance, it would set the stage for them to present their new global financial system and international medium of exchange (see the News Alert in our Spring issue). For a new world reserve currency to be introduced, the US dollar must be greatly devalued and destabilized. An economic disaster could do the trick. Globalists, many of whom are directly influenced by secret societies and occult elements, love a good crisis that can be used to present their “solution” on their terms. This is how the forces of darkness work.
I sincerely hope they fail in this wicked scheme. We need to pray that the Lord will give President Trump exceptional wisdom to navigate through the challenges he will encounter in the coming months. Only with God’s help will he be able to outsmart and outmaneuver his adversaries. We must also pray for his personal safety. If the forces allied against him cannot stop his agenda from moving forward, they may try to “take him out.”
This is the reality of the battle we are facing. We are already in a cold war between two diametrically opposing worldviews. Thus far, shots have not been fired. But that could change in an instant, as the stakes are high.
Taking Action
In order to stay ahead of the curve, from an economic standpoint, the President will have to take proactive measures. One way to possibly delay the introduction of a new world reserve currency, for example, would be to once again back the US dollar with gold. Bringing back the gold standard would shore up our currency, stabilize the stock market, and increase the chances of keeping the US dollar as the world’s chief reserve currency into the foreseeable future. For the President to succeed in this endeavor, he would have to persuade at least a few other nations to support such a move. This would be the difficult part, as most of the world’s major leaders have already thrown their weight behind the new SDR currency.
The other challenge in all of this would be to find a way to stabilize the price of gold – a key necessity if such a plan is to succeed. The price would have to be set at or near $10,000 per ounce, and a special organization would have to be commissioned with the purpose of keeping the price of gold at the designated level. Its task would require purchasing gold if the price drops below a certain point and selling gold if it moves above a certain level. The international price of gold would have to be maintained within a tightly controlled range to keep the value of the dollar stable. But, it could be done. There are other options for the President; however, the gold option seems the most plausible.
The President will have to be just as vigilant on other fronts including border security, energy independence, safe-guarding our infrastructure against an EMP attack and other terror threats, etc. After years of neglect by the last few administrations, the US has unfortunately become vulnerable in many areas. There are no easy solutions.
Perhaps the most important thing President Trump can do is to create an environment where Christian beliefs and practices can once again flourish. Restoring our freedoms and protecting us (Christians) from frivolous legal persecution and bias might do more than anything else to gain God’s favor and protection as a nation (to make America great again) – if combined with genuine repentance.
A Confession
We obviously live during a time of escalating political and religious tension and polarization. It is so easy to get caught up in the frustration and hostility that can accompany this tension. I must confess that at one point last week I became so riled up over the unfair and intentionally misleading coverage of the border crisis that I wanted to reach through my television screen and strangle a few individuals.
While there is a place for righteous indignation and holy anger, sometimes we need to take a deep breath and step away from the swirling controversy and remind ourselves that our real battle is not against people, but rather against the demonic spiritual influences that have deceptively captured their minds and emotions, moving them to oppose God’s truth – often without even realizing they are doing the devil’s bidding.
We are living at a time in history when the rebellion against God is intensifying. As the Lord said to Ezekiel, “Son of man, you are living among a rebellious people. They have eyes to see but do not see and ears to hear but do not hear, for they are a rebellious people.” (Ezekiel 12:2) These words from the past accurately describe our current world. Despite the Lord’s extreme patience and prolonged warnings, the people of our generation, overall, have become blinded by Satan and are racing toward their own destruction. Still, as Paul instructed the church in Ephesus, we must remember that “Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” (Ephesians 6:12)
Regardless of the evil that is perpetrated against us by our human adversaries who have been blinded and harnessed by Satan, Jesus commands, “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 6:44) Again, in Luke 6:27-31, Jesus said, “Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you…Do to others as you would have them do to you.” In similar fashion Paul the Apostle taught, “Do not repay anyone evil for evil…Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” (Romans 12:17-21)
These instructions to Christians – the saints of God – may be our greatest challenge in these last days. It is never easy to love and pray for the ones who hate and persecute us. But, we must remind ourselves that our human tormentors are to be pitied and prayed for the most, as they will face eternal torment in hell unless they repent and accept Jesus Christ as their Savior. We mustn’t wish such a terrifying future even upon our worst enemies. Rather, we should pray for them, share the gospel, and do everything possible to influence them for good. Most of them will not change; they will continue to reject the love and truth of God and will suffer the consequences. However, some – even in the Deep State – will accept God’s love and forgiveness and will be our friends and neighbors throughout eternity.
We must never forget, some of us who were once the vilest of sinners have become the mightiest warriors for the Lord. Paul was one such example of God’s patience and mercy. A one-time instrument of Satan and murderer of Christians, he became the greatest defender of the faith ever known. With the help of the Holy Spirit living within us, it becomes possible for us to pray for those who oppose us and to be a testimony of God’s love and grace as we enter the final years of history and near our Savior’s return. Let us therefore continue to stand for truth and righteousness, while patiently reaching out to our adversaries and representing Christ with integrity in everything we do. ■
On Related Matters…
● Apparently, what was once merely a rumor has now gained some traction. There are a growing number of globalists who are privately making the case for Barack Obama to become Secretary General of the United Nations. Conservatives who’ve become alerted to this possibility are beginning to push back. One example: The National Committee (a project of the Federation of Responsible Citizens Inc.) has sent a petition with thousands of signatures to the US House of Representatives and the US House Committee on Foreign Affairs urging Congress to prevent this from happening. Here is an excerpt from their petition:
I know that your Committee has been collecting information concerning Barack Obama’s secret plan to become Secretary General of the United Nations. By now you have amassed reports from intelligence experts who have expressed grave concern that if Barack Obama succeeds, he could greatly jeopardize national security through revealing Top Secret intelligence. What’s more, I know you also have ample evidence showing that Barack Obama has repeatedly aided nations and terrorists aligned with radical Islam and that these nations and entities are supporting his plan to head the U.N. In giving nuclear capability to Iran and billions of dollars in aid, Barack Obama damaged our nation enough and compromised national security. He must not be allowed to succeed in his plans to further compromise our security. Please take urgent and immediate action to stop Barack Obama from becoming Secretary General of the United Nations.
● In June, in a move long overdue, the Trump administration withdrew the US from the United Nations Human Rights Council. Nikki Haley, the US Ambassador to the UN, called the 47-member council “a protector of human rights abusers, and a cesspool of political bias.” Haley noted the move came after a year where “we did not see any progress.”
Haley threatened the pull-out last year, citing longstanding US complaints that the council showed a “chronic bias” against Israel. But the announcement also came just a day after the UN human rights chief denounced the Trump administration for separating migrant children from their parents. Haley pointedly stated:
“I want to make it crystal clear that this step is not a retreat from our human rights commitments. On the contrary. We take this step because our commitment does not allow us to remain a part of a hypocritical and self-serving organization that makes a mockery of human rights,” she said. “We did not make this decision lightly. When this administration began 17 months ago, we were well aware of the enormous flaws in the Human Rights Council. We could have withdrawn immediately. We did not do that. Instead, we made a good faith effort to resolve the problems.”

● We’ve been receiving lots of questions regarding financial preparations for potentially difficult times. People are becoming legitimately concerned. There is a growing possibility of proliferating trade disputes that could have a strong downward effect on our economy and markets. While we should pray and hope for the best, it is also wise from a biblical standpoint to be prepared for the worst. It is never God’s will for His people to be caught off guard. Although we’ve covered this subject in detail over the years – especially in our Spring 2014 issue “Preparing for Turbulent Times” – here are a few financial suggestions intended for the current situation:
– Get out of debt to the best of your ability.
– Keep on hand a few thousand dollars of cash for use during an emergency.
– Also, keep on hand a few thousand dollars of tradeable gold and silver coins (for the purpose of bartering).
– For those of you heavily invested in the stock market, keep at least one-third of your portfolio liquid in the form of available cash. This will serve as a buffer to help you recover more quickly if markets fail, in which case some stocks could be purchased for pennies on the dollar – by those with the available cash.
– Consider purchasing some farm land (to grow food), preferably within a short distance (15 miles or so) of your home. Or, identify a close friend or relative who lives in such a setting and might be willing to help in a time of crisis.
– If you have doubts about what you should do, ask the Lord with an open heart and He will guide your thoughts and give you clarity.
