Many people are wondering, “What will the remainder of 2024 bring?” Every time it seems like things can’t get any worse, they somehow do. The politically-charged climate in this critical election year has led to the deepest division in our nation during our lifetime, possibly in its history. The hatred and contempt between those on the far Left and pro Constitution Conservatives on the Right runs deep, in large measure because the stakes are so high. This fall’s election, if we make it that far as a nation, could be the last free election our country will experience – unless we receive divine intervention from God.
Globalists who are driving the international socialist agenda brazenly telegraphed us their plans from recent meetings in Davos and Dubai. The World Economic Forum, which convened January 15-19, focused on several areas of manipulation they will use to implement their agenda. These include the proposed introduction of a digital biometric ID card; a global tax (possibly two – a carbon tax and a corporate tax to fund an empowered United Nations); widescale censorship via social media companies working in sync with the government; enforcing future WHO pandemic lockdowns and weaponizing climate change as a “health crisis;” and doing everything possible to rein in Donald Trump and US sovereignty. According to Ben Johnson of The Washington Stand who covered the WEF meetings, S & P’s Global President Douglas L. Peterson at one point remarked,
Fortunately, the United States has very strong institutions, [including] the courts…We’re gonna have to rely on them, depending on what the outcome of the election is. And we also need to make sure we stay engaged through the global institutions like the United Nations, like NATO, other organizations around the world – and I add into that international trade pacts…” [all to limit US sovereignty under Trump].1
Tedros Ghebreyesus, Secretary-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), was a central figure at this year’s forum. This China-backed doctor proposed a massive expansion of the WHO’s authority through a pandemic treaty, as well as guidelines to expand abortion and transgenderism.2 Speaking to the WEF attendees, Ghebreyesus called on countries to sign on to his organization’s pandemic treaty in preparation for “Disease X” which, according to him, could be 20 times deadlier than Covid-19.3 Through his measures, which are already underway, the WHO aims to “fast-track the availability of effective tests, vaccines and medicines” for a future health crisis.4
Shaman performs ritual over WEF panelist
The WEF wrapped up its Davos meetings by having a shaman (witch doctor) from a Brazilian tribe conduct a pagan ritual for the healing of Earth. She instructed the crowd of elite globalists to “hold hands and unite our hearts, unite our thoughts in the same direction for healing of the planet.” She said, “The healing is spiritual.” She proceeded to rub her hands together, chant an incantation and breathe on the foreheads of the panelists. According to Ben Johnson’s report,
The recipients of the shaman’s spirit included Klaus Schwab’s wife, Hilde Schwab; the president of the World Bank Group, Ajay S. Banga; the managing director of the International Monetary Fund, Kristalina Georgieva; the CEO of IKEA, Jesper Brodin; billionaire André Hoffmann; the moderator, Neo; and one figure of particular importance to evangelical Christians.5
Observing this ritual, Christian investigative journalist Megan Basham quipped,
Fun little cameo for Southern Baptists. See the second person on this panel, having a pagan ritual performed over her? That is Katharine Hayhoe who promotes climate alarmism among evangelicals.6
Megan further noted that the president of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Danny Akin, has promoted this alarmist to students at the ministry school. In fact, Hayhoe spoke at a 2021 SEBTS conference on “The Goodness of Creation and Human Responsibility.” She said that she embraced climate change because of her faith. She was also interviewed on the seminary’s “Christ and Culture” podcast.7 Where’s the Christian discernment when it comes to this pagan/earth-centered agenda? (Read Romans chapter one.)
Fortunately there was some significant pushback at this year’s forum. Much of it came from three conservatives who were probably invited to Davos in recognition of a possible Donald Trump presidency. Their limited time was crammed mostly into one panel. They included Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts, President Javier Millei of Argentina, and President Katalin Novák of Hungary. When the opportunity came, Roberts boldly confronted attendees with the following words:
You are part of the problem. China, the No. 1 adversary not just to the United States, but to free people on planet Earth. Not only do we at Davos not say that, we give the Chinese Communist Party a platform.
On another occasion Roberts remarked that the next US president should see to it that,
every single member of the administration needs to compile a list of everything that has ever been proposed at the World Economic Forum and object to all of them wholesale.”8
Well said. Let’s do it!
Argentina’s new president, Javier Millei, delivered a bold message as well, denouncing socialist government policies that inevitably destroy wealth while enriching the tiny elite who preside over the state. Millei’s goal is to “make Argentina a place that is free from globalists [and] free from their anti-human agenda.”9 The leaders of Hungary have also repeatedly spoken out against the WEF’s globalist agenda. So, conservative Americans are not alone in recognizing the danger. However, we are in a minority. Most of the world’s leaders are fully on board with this deceptive scheme.
World Government Summit 2024
This year’s second meeting of top globalists took place February 12 to 14 in Dubai, UAE. This important summit closely echoed the goals of the World Economic Forum and was attended by many of the same players. The main topics discussed centered on six strategic areas: Accelerating the use of digital technology, especially in banking; the advancement of artificial intelligence; reimagining the world’s economy; reshaping future societies through education; sustainability – using matters of climate change to further strengthen global institutions; and promoting global health initiatives to empower the WHO and the UN.
Some of the entities listed as “Strategic Partners” in the summit’s literature included the United Nations, World Health Organization, International Monetary Fund, World Trade Organization, World Bank Group, International Labour Organization, and UNESCO. Corporations listed as “Members” of the summit included Google, Meta, Amazon, ZOOM, Pepsico, Coursera, Accenture, and VISA. “Media Partners” mentioned in their promo included Bloomberg, TIME, CNBC, CNN, Euronews, along with several Arabic media groups from the Middle East. The Chairman of the WGS Organization is H. E. Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, who also happens to be the UAE’s Minister of Cabinet Affairs.10
Influential figures at the WGS
The United Arab Emirates has come to play a very significant role as a meeting place for bringing the world’s political, economic, and religious leaders together for the purpose of promoting the new world system. Worth remembering: This is the annual summit where Pope Francis has been the featured speaker; and the UAE is also home to the Pope’s interfaith center, known as the Abrahamic Family House, which opened last year in Abu Dhabi.
Keeping Momentum
With a strong emphasis on the environment and global health, the World Economic Forum and the World Government Summit have together set the stage for transformational gatherings later this year. As previously noted in our Fall 23 issue, one of these landmark events will take place from May 27 to June 1 in Geneva, Switzerland. This is when the 77th World Health Assembly is scheduled to convene in order to ratify the WHO’s Global Pandemic Treaty. This treaty has been in the making for a few years and is being backed by the Biden administration which, in order to circumvent any potential resistance from Congress, is referring to it as an “accord.” If ratified, this treaty will be used to force draconian measures on the world’s population when the next contrived “health crisis” is thrust upon us. It would give the World Health Organization almost unlimited power in the event of a declared pandemic. Every country that is a member of the WHO would be obligated to abide by its dictates, which will be upheld by the United Nations, under whose auspices the WHO exists.
To ensure that no country can escape the grasp of the WHO when the next pandemic strikes, the UN is planning a meeting this fall in New York. This so-called “Summit of the Future” is slated to convene September 22-23 and will unveil a new guiding document intended to provide the UN with emergency powers in the event of an international crisis. The list of crises that could extend emergency authority to the UN are not limited to a pandemic, but can include a major climate event, a global digital connectivity disruption (cyber attack or EMP strike), a major event in outer space, among other “unforeseen risks.” In other words, the sky’s the limit as to what could be construed as an emergency. Not only that, but once enacted, the UN could extend its emergency powers for as long as “it deems necessary” (indefinitely).
Where “the Kings of Earth” will gather this fall
If this “Pact for the Future” is approved, it will give the UN unprecedented powers on a global scale. The only political solution to this encroachment on sovereign nations is for the nations of the world to withdraw membership and funding from the UN and the institutions operating under its direction. But don’t hold your breath. Here in the US the Biden administration is expected to fully back these measures, especially since they’ve been directly involved in formulating the initiatives to be presented in “the Pact.” If this goes through, we could be living in a different world a year from now; and the United States, as we know it, could cease to exist.
In light of these developments, the possibility of a planned pandemic – or combination of crises – looms large. The powers that be mean business. The next major event, I believe, will not be a trial run. They will be going for it all, especially if they feel their momentum is slipping away due to growing resistance in the United States and elsewhere. They have a window of opportunity to implement their one world agenda while Biden is president and Francis is pope.
The US Election
Globalists interestingly find themselves between a rock and a hard spot. There cannot be a true world government without the US on board. Yet, the current US Administration, which is practically owned by globalists, is headed by an aging puppet with failing mental capacity. This is a problem for them. And, despite all their efforts to derail Donald Trump’s campaign – including a myriad of accusations, indictments, and lawsuits – polls show him in the lead. No doubt, the global establishment will continue to work through their controlled media and courts to knock Trump out of the race. But what if their efforts fail?
In my view, the danger for America will increase as we approach this fall’s national election. If Trump’s lead holds through the next few months, and the powers that be believe he will defeat Biden in November, they may take drastic measures to “bring the house down” between now and then – precipitating one or more national crises in order to declare Martial Law or commandeer citizens through other means. Areas of potential mischief and manipulation range from a sudden health or financial crisis to a major cyber or EMP attack or a series of large-scale acts of terror (or an all-out war). Anything is possible. Everything is on the table. They could even try to “take Trump out.”
The same can be said if Robert F. Kennedy Jr. gains more traction since the global establishment sees him as a threat as well. He has been very outspoken against the WEF and the WHO’s pandemic treaty. If his candidacy pulls more votes away from Biden than Trump, then Biden would be certain to lose. They will do everything possible to prevent that from happening.
Biden, Kennedy, Trump: Who will it be?
What if against all odds – despite their best efforts to subdue and manipulate US citizens – Trump or Kennedy were to win the election? The powers that be would still have two months (from early November until mid January) before the next president is sworn in. The possibility for Martial Law under the current administration would continue during that time. We could expect our cities to burn in protest of Biden’s defeat. Do we really think that Soros and his comrades would sit on their money and do nothing? They would likely fund every possible effort to throw America into chaos.
The race is actually much closer than what the polls suggest. The main battle between now and November will be fought in seven swing states: Arizona, Nevada, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Each of these states is dominated by one or two big cities. In Arizona, it’s Phoenix; in Georgia, it’s Atlanta; in Michigan, Detroit; etc. All that the Left has to do to win is carry these big cities by a wide margin – gaining 60 percent or more of the vote. If they can achieve such a margin, it becomes next to impossible for Conservatives in the rest of the state to overcome this lead. In some states Conservatives would have to win more than 70 percent of the remaining vote to clinch a victory. Very difficult to do!
In addition, due to ballot harvesting, an advantage in mail-in balloting, and other techniques that the DNC has perfected, it has become increasingly difficult for Conservatives to win in big cities. And, overall, unless a Republican candidate has at least a four-point lead going into an election, he/she will generally lose. There are many ways in which to manipulate elections these days. Trump, or Kennedy, would have to carry a sizeable lead into Election Day to have a realistic chance of becoming our next president.
Also, unless they have long coattails that can help sweep more pro-America/anti-Marxist leaders into the US House and Senate, not much would change during the next term. We need at least 20-30 more genuine Conservatives in the House and an additional 5-7 in the Senate to have a real majority. Republicans have a history of overestimating favorable results. If held today, the election would be very close despite what the polls indicate.
God’s Take
We know from Scripture (Ephesians 6:10-13 and elsewhere) that as long as we live on this earth we will be engaged in a spiritual battle. This battle is being fought at every level of our lives and carries over into the political/legal realm. Religion and politics are intertwined whether we want to acknowledge this or not. Every one of us has a religious worldview. That worldview in large measure determines how we live and what matters are most important to us. Collectively, this influences the direction of a nation politically – whether it prospers in freedom under God’s leading or becomes enslaved to Satan’s malevolent edicts and unscrupulous vessels.
Ultimately, the question that matters most is, “What does God think?” He has witnessed our nation’s rapid moral and spiritual decline. He also sees that a growing number of Americans (albeit a minority) are waking up and turning to Him. How does He view our country as a result? Is our Creator inclined to intervene on our behalf, or will He allow evil to run its course? Is our late-hour repentance and attempt to do what is right “too little too late?”
No matter what happens, we must as individuals bring our hearts and lives into alignment with God’s principles and leading. We must allow His Holy Spirit to direct our every decision and move. This can only happen if we are completely surrendered to Him.
During my devotions this morning the Lord led me to the following passages of Scripture. They spoke to me at a deep level. Jesus, in encouraging His followers, instructed them to “…love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength…” (Mark 12:30) As those who are living near the end of the Age, we must love and cling to the Lord as never before in order to navigate the times ahead.
The apostle Paul adds his counsel, instructing believers in Jesus: “Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” (Romans 12:11-12) This is good, sound spiritual advice.
Concerning our future as a nation, we must continue to hope, pray, and labor for what is right, while also doing what we can to prepare for sudden, less than desirable changes. We need to let our light shine, faithfully living for Christ – standing for righteousness and truth in every situation. Our strength and serenity come from knowing that God isstill on the throne and that He has not forgotten us. The bottom line: If we have placed our trust in Jesus, no matter what happens, our eternity is secure in Him. All glory and praise to Jesus! ■

Have You Trusted Jesus as Savior?
God loves mankind – his greatest creation. His perfect will is for all to be saved and none to be lost (John 3:15-18, 5:24). However, He makes clear that only those who have accepted (believed in) His divine Son, Jesus Christ, will be spared from the punishment of hell and will spend eternity with Him (Matthew 10:28 & II Peter 2:4-10).
If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, you must believe that Jesus is who He says He is and that He paid the penalty for your sins with His death on a cross. Accept His free gift of eternal life which He can offer because He conquered death through His resurrection. Then, with the help of His Holy Spirit, turn from your old ways of living (repent) and follow Him. Take a moment and tell the Lord that you desire to receive Him into your life and ask His Holy Spirit to dwell inside of you and lead you into all truth.
Once you have settled this most important matter, be devoted in your relationship with the Lord. Spend time with Him by reading His Word (the Bible) and talking to Him (praying) daily. As you grow in His grace, He will direct you and open doors showing you how best to serve Him. With Jesus at the helm, your life and eternity are secure in His care. No situation or power of the enemy will be able to separate you from the love of Christ!
