During the weeks leading up to last November’s national election we witnessed perhaps the most intense time of fervent prayer and repentance of our lifetime. Millions of Americans, recognizing the dire and immoral condition of our nation, genuinely cried out to God – many in humility from on their knees – pleading for His divine intervention. I have to believe that our gracious Master has heard our pleas and is responding.
On October 20th, I personally had the privilege of leading our nation in prayer as part of the 40 Days of Prayer initiative (40daysusa.com). Here is a portion of what the Lord put on my heart to pray on that day:
Father God, our country is in DEEP trouble! We desperately need and long for your divine intervention. So, we ask you Lord God to expose and bring to light the corruption and the deception of the socialist/anti-Christian agenda being perpetrated by so many of our government leaders, both at the national as well as state levels. Root out this evil and wickedness oh Lord, that the truth would prevail. Cause confusion among our adversaries so that they might not be able to advance their malicious intentions. Nothing is impossible for you Lord. We believe that!…
Is this not exactly what is happening right now? Abuses that are almost unbelievable are being exposed and brought to light. The level of corruption that has become entrenched in the Deep State pockets of our government is nothing short of staggering; it is completely appalling. The time for a thorough “housecleaning” has come!
God sometimes works in mysterious ways, using unlikely characters to carry out His purposes. Is there anyone besides Donald Trump you can think of who would have the boldness, ability and determination to take on and weed out the traitors and corrupt bureaucrats in our bloated government? No doubt, Trump is a piece of work. But one does not have to like his personality to appreciate his dedication to restoring order to our Republic. There is definitely a new sheriff in town!
Trump moves swiftly to sign Executive Orders
President Trump, to his credit, has assembled the strongest team of any US president in decades. With few exceptions, his Cabinet appointees are individuals who I personally might have picked for the same positions if I were president. They are competent, hard-working, and dedicated to defending our nation’s sovereignty and Constitution. Most importantly they are not anti-Christian.
The Cabinet members have their work cut out, as they have inherited a true mess. The battle to root out corruption has just begun, and the Deep State diehards will litigate every move they make in order to frustrate their efforts. Court decisions will be key in bringing about necessary changes. They can either stall the momentum or clear the way.
I therefore urge every Christian reading this article to pray like never before. Pray that decisions by judges would come swiftly and that their rulings would be in line with restoring normalcy (the rule of law) to our Republic. We have a long road ahead; it will likely take years, not months, to undo the evil that’s been set in motion by Deep State globalists. The results will rest to a large extent on the level of sincere repentance God observes among the American people, and the degree to which we commit ourselves to fervently seeking Him in prayer. But know this, “With God all things are possible!” (Matthew 19:26)
Chief Concerns
The new administration faces difficult challenges. These include the economy (inflation, tariffs and energy); restoring our national security; ending the wars in Ukraine and Gaza; reining in and harnessing Artificial Intelligence; along with a host of other challenges. These could become obstacles that slow progress if not handled with extreme discernment, as we are dealing with very complex issues.
Let’s take the economy for example. The United States has a $37 Trillion debt. The annual interest owed on this ballooning debt is projected to be over $1.2 Trillion in 2025. This is unsustainable!
In order to cut spending and balance the budget, the Trump administration will have to be creative, but also careful. Timing will be important. It is only right and fair for the US to charge reciprocal tariffs to nations who’ve imposed stiff tariffs on products they import from our nation. However, if those nations band together, refusing to reduce or eliminate their tariffs on US goods – and if Trump responds by refusing to back down on tariffs he is imposing on their products, then inflation could quickly ensue. Over half of all consumer goods purchased in the US every day are imported. The only way to offset the potential jump in inflation caused by tariff disputes is to rapidly increase our domestic oil and natural gas production. However, because of the damage done to our energy industry by the Biden administration, it could take upwards of two years to get energy flowing again like it did under Trump’s first term when we had become energy independent.
It will take time to drill new wells and step up production on existing ones to substantially increase output. If the cost of gasoline could somehow be brought down to $2.20 to $2.30 per gallon, it would not only lessen our travel expenses but would also lower the cost of food prices along with other items where shipping costs are significant. These savings, I believe, would roughly balance out the higher prices we might be paying on foreign imports. Again, timing is everything. If President Trump moves too quickly on tariffs – before energy costs can be lowered – inflation will result. Globalists with the WEF and the major foundations will almost certainly fan the flames through propaganda from their leftist media establishment; their goal being to collapse the stock market and US economy in order to pin the blame on the Trump administration. This would bring Democrats (Socialists) back into full control of the House and Senate in the 2026 midterm elections. Any progress made by the current administration would be brought to an abrupt halt and reversed. Therefore, we must pray that God would direct the President’s closest financial advisors to give him sound advice on these matters, and that he would listen to them.
Similarly, on a related issue, in early January – before the President took office – a friend asked for my thoughts on Trump’s comments about making Canada and Greenland part of the United States. This was my response:
The majority of Canadians – conservative or liberal – do not want to merge into the US and thereby lose their national identity. So, if anything at all comes of Trump’s 51st state comments, it might be in the form of better trade agreements for the US, and eventual closer trade relations with Canada. In other words, Trump is merely posturing right now in order to get the best possible deals. On the other hand, depending on how things play out, it could lead to trade agreements that might put us a step closer to a regional trading block like those described by the Club of Rome over 50 years ago. If Trump wants to avoid globalization while defending our national sovereignty, as he has repeatedly stated, he needs to tread carefully… We need to pray that some of his closest advisors who are patriots will be able to keep him in check in case he does something that might play into the hands of globalists. Trump might think he can control and influence them (powerful globalists) on economics, but they are smart and could end up controlling him if he’s not careful.
National Security
Another huge challenge that President Trump faces involves our nation’s security. While he has moved with remarkable speed to tighten our border, getting foreign criminals out of the US is a monumental undertaking that will take time. The estimates of illegal aliens who entered the US in just four years under the Biden administration range from 12 to 20 million. Various reports suggest that between 5 and 10 percent of these illegals have criminal records. This means we have anywhere from 600,000 to 2 million very bad people who have infiltrated our country under the cover of a mass migration, allowed and perpetrated by Biden. To make matters worse, most of the mayors of the largest sanctuary cities are refusing to cooperate with ICE in capturing and exporting these criminals. A showdown is imminent.
These Marxist/globalist mayors, whose intent is to weaken and dismantle the US, are marching to the drumbeat of George Soros and the international elites who want to force the US into a one-world system of government. They are dedicated to an anti-America/anti-Christ agenda and are unlikely to budge as long as they have funding and the support of corrupt city councils and judges. If President Trump makes good on his promise to cut off federal funding to cities who harbor criminal aliens, there WILL be fireworks. I believe the top global movers and shakers would love to see this situation devolve into a major civil calamity, possibly war. If that fails to materialize, there could even be another attempt on the President’s life – anything to take down America. Much wisdom will be needed by President Trump to navigate these waters.
We haven’t yet considered the growing threat that China and her allies pose. China currently has the capability of constructing 10 new naval vessels for every one ship built by the United States. And, many of our fighter jets can’t fly because of missing parts or other issues. We are at this moment incredibly vulnerable to a foreign attack, especially if we are distracted by an internal crisis. If all else fails, the globalist powers could try to unleash a cyber or EMP strike to disable our electric grid. Aware of this possibility, President Trump put in motion a plan to protect our grid from such an attack late during his first term. However, those efforts were promptly terminated when Biden took office.
Please pray that the new administration would be able to move quickly to protect our grid from outside attacks as well as terror attacks from within. Pray specifically for Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, Kristi Noem – Secretary of Homeland Security, Tom Homan – Director of ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement), and Pam Bondi – US Attorney General. Pray for their protection and an extra measure of discernment and awareness as they carry out their duties to keep America safe.
Russia/Ukraine
One of the biggest challenges faced by President Trump is negotiating an end to the bloody three year war of attrition between Russia and Ukraine. If his efforts are successful, it would at least temporarily prevent WWIII from occurring. No matter what deals are made to end this war, there will be no winners. US officials in August estimated that the combined total of fighters killed or wounded on both sides was around 500,000. Other sources place the numbers much higher. The International Institute for Strategic Studies estimates that as many as 800,000 Russian soldiers have been killed or severely injured, and the Wall Street Journal reports that 80,000 Ukrainian soldiers have been killed and approximately 400,000 wounded. These figures do not include civilian casualties, which number in the thousands. Regardless of the precise numbers, the cost of human life has been very high.
This is a war that was preventable and should have never been fought. The sad reality for Ukraine is that as long as Russia exists as a military superpower, it will never allow Ukraine to be militarily allied with the West. From its perspective Russia must maintain control of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea for strategic reasons, if it is to successfully defend itself against any future attack by NATO or another power. These waterways are as important to Russia as the Gulf of Mexico (now America) is to the United States.
As long as Ukraine remained friendly toward Russia, Putin didn’t mind Ukraine having economic and cultural interactions with the West; he did so himself. But, when it became clear that Ukraine wanted nothing to do with Russia and was aligning itself with NATO, Putin responded with force. Because of Ukraine’s strategic location along the soft underbelly of Russia, it will never be permitted to completely escape Russia’s orbit of influence. The only way to change this scenario would be for Russia to be completely obliterated by a nuclear attack – something that is highly unlikely since Russia currently possesses more nuclear weapons than the rest of the world combined and would be willing to use them if deemed necessary. Putin could go nuclear on Ukraine if the war drags on – something that might happen given the fact that some of Zelenskyy’s advisors are WEF globalists who are urging him to keep fighting; these include some of Europe’s top leaders.
This was from the beginning a no win situation for Ukraine which was unfortunately – and I believe intentionally – lured by Western intelligence (particularly the US and Britain) to believe that it could successfully break ties with Russia. The underlying purpose of ramping up tensions between these two Slavic neighbors was to manipulate Ukraine and Russia into fomenting a third world war. The fingerprints of Western globalists are all over this and will be borne out in history.

But what purpose would a third world war serve in furthering their agenda of control? The modus operandi of globalists has always been to create a crisis so they can then step in with “their solution” appearing to save the day. In their mindset, “The end always justifies the means” – no matter how much carnage and suffering it causes along the way. These are wicked individuals serving the Father of Lies. Unfortunately they’ve made a lot of “progress” over the past century.
World War I led to the forming of the League of Nations, the first step toward a global governing framework. World War II resulted in the creation of the United Nations, which has been establishing the infrastructure for a worldwide system of government. However, to date it lacks the authority it seeks to become a full-blown world government. Upper tier globalists will use a destructive third world war if necessary to finally bring the inhabitants of Earth to their knees – to a point where they are willing to embrace major changes and loss of personal freedoms in exchange for the promise of peace by an all-powerful world government. This is where things currently stand. The areas most ripe for manipulation into a global conflict are Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and the Far East (China & N. Korea versus Taiwan, S. Korea, and Japan). Preventing wars in these hotspots will be an on-going challenge for the Trump administration. Pray for Secretary of State Marco Rubio and his special envoys who face an array of arduous diplomatic hurdles. And, pray for President Trump to make the correct final decisions.
[On a more personal note, my heart aches for the Ukrainian and Russian families who’ve lost loved ones in this brutal war. In some cases cousins, and even brothers, have been fighting on opposing sides. Imagine if Canada and the United States were in a war against each other, and you’ll get the picture. Adding to this reality is the fact that there are now millions of Bible-believing Christians living in both countries. In fact, Russia and Ukraine have a higher percentage of born again believers than most of the western European countries. I have met some of them. They are among the most loving and dedicated Christians I’ve ever known.
Recently, a pastor friend living in Russia organized a prayer event involving over 500 evangelical churches and tens of thousands of Russian believers. Similar gatherings are taking place in Ukraine where we’ve been supporting three Ukrainian ministries for nearly 20 years. In fact, Kiev has served as our launching point into the former Soviet Union countries. My book, En Route to Global Occupation, was translated into Russian by a Christian publisher in Kiev who promoted and distributed the book to thousands of Pastors and Christian leaders throughout Russia, Ukraine, and the former East Bloc nations. It is a real tragedy that these countries are now at war.
Please pray for a quick end to this bloody conflict. Pray especially for the saints whose daily lives are being severely impacted; and pray for their protection.]
Israel/Gaza
Perhaps the greatest diplomatic challenge of all is the pursuit of Mideast peace. Of course, true lasting peace in this region will not occur until Jesus Messiah – the Prince of Peace – returns and finally puts an end to all wars (culminating with His victory at the Battle of Armageddon). Many human efforts to bring peace have been made; none of them successful. Now President Trump is pursuing his own attempt at stopping the violence by taking control of Gaza, and “remaking” it.
Despite many positive responses coming from Jews and Gentiles alike, I have a very unsettled feeling about this pursuit. For one thing, why should the US become directly involved in land ownership halfway around the world? Do we have a mandate to do so? Most importantly, what does God think about this?
From a historical biblical perspective, does Gaza rightfully belong to Israel or to the Philistines (i.e. Gazans/Palestinians)? If Gaza was intended by God to belong to Israel, then removing this land from the Jewish nation will have grave consequences for the party or parties involved in carrying out this agenda. What cataclysmic event might befall the United States for taking the lead in such an undertaking? On the other hand, if Gaza belongs to the Palestinians, what repercussions will be felt by America at the hands of the Islamic nations for taking this land away?
These matters are currently being debated by both Christians and Jews. Everyone wants the Gaza violence to end. But how, and what will be the fallout? In short, Gaza has the potential of becoming a huge trap for the United States. Therefore we must pray that God will intervene and prevent President Trump from pursuing this plan if it is not of Him.
Artificial Intelligence
Another headache for the new Administration is determining what boundaries, if any, to place on AI. What is the best way to regulate this exploding technology? Is it even possible to do so, or is it too late?
If certain parameters aren’t immediately established, AI will soon be running everything, including us. Left unchecked, human life will be completely controlled by integrated smart machines that belong to a self-perpetuating system of non-human electronic intelligence. The competitive race for AI supremacy between the US and China will only accelerate advances in this technology. At the current rate of exponential development some experts believe that by the early 2030s, AI technology will have the capability of reading minds (extracting information/thoughts directly from our brains) as well as downloading information (including propaganda and false data) into our brains. Scary stuff!
While AI is already achieving incredible medical breakthroughs, with more to come, there is in my view an overriding negative downside that will usher in Mark of the Beast technology, used to dominate and control humankind. What advice will Elon Musk give Donald Trump on this complex subject? And, will Trump’s response accelerate or slow down AI’s control of our lives? We will soon find out. We must pray that God would give an abundance of wisdom to our President on this matter of AI.
Some Much Needed Good News
Yes, we are living in unprecedented times of rapid change. Knowledge is increasing at an incomprehensible pace, making the world smaller and smaller, and ultimately easier to control by fewer and fewer, just as the Bible warned. (Daniel 12:4, Revelation 13 & 14) This will eventually culminate in the most outrageous demonic deception ever encountered by man. But here’s the good news – we don’t have to participate in, or be led astray by this coming delusion. If we have accepted Jesus as our Messiah and Lord, and have his Holy Spirit dwelling within us, He will lead us into all truth. He will protect us from being spiritually hijacked by Satan’s schemes – if we remain obedient to Him. In other words, if we have accepted Christ and repented of our sins, He will never abandon us. He promises to be with us to the very end of the age. (Matthew 28:20)
The time is coming when Jesus will make this Earth his footstool and put an end to all wars and strife. I personally long for that day more than ever. I trust you do too.
Between now and then, however, we’ve been given a task – to be Christ’s salt and light in this confused world and to share his message of salvation and hope wherever He places us. Our actions and prayers make a difference. So don’t stop doing good for the glory of Christ…and Don’t Stop Praying! ■

Have You Trusted Jesus as Savior?
God loves mankind – his greatest creation. His perfect will is for all to be saved and none to be lost (John 3:15-18, 5:24). However, He makes clear that only those who have accepted (believed in) His divine Son, Jesus Christ, will be spared from the punishment of hell and will spend eternity with Him (Matthew 10:28 & II Peter 2:4-10).
If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, you must believe that Jesus is who He says He is and that He paid the penalty for your sins with His death on a cross. Accept His free gift of eternal life which He can offer because He conquered death through His resurrection. Then, with the help of His Holy Spirit, turn from your old ways of living (repent) and follow Him. Take a moment and tell the Lord that you desire to receive Him into your life and ask His Holy Spirit to dwell inside of you and lead you into all truth.
Once you have settled this most important matter, be devoted in your relationship with the Lord. Spend time with Him by reading His Word (the Bible) and talking to Him (praying) daily. As you grow in His grace, He will direct you and open doors showing you how best to serve Him. With Jesus at the helm, your life and eternity are secure in His care. No situation or power of the enemy will be able to separate you from the love of Christ!
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?… No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
