Christ, Our Only Hope

By Gary H. Kah

Earlier this week I drove to my favorite spot, a lake near our home where I often spend time with the Lord in the quiet of the morning. As I was sitting in my car, looking out over the still waters as the rising sun cast its beams toward the sky in an awesome display of colors, the beauty of God’s creation was breathtaking. I began to worship and praise God for His amazing handiwork and the everyday free gifts He lavishes on us that we often take completely for granted in our busy lives. As I reflected on His goodness and the vastness of His power and creativity, He impressed these words on my mind: “If this world, as fallen as it is, is this beautiful and desirable for living, imagine what a perfect eternity in My presence will be like.” For a while I sat quietly, contemplating that thought and reflecting on the truth behind it.

The Lord has been so incredibly good to us, allowing many enjoyments in this world that we do not deserve given our fallen sin nature. He has been extremely merciful and longsuffering in putting up with mankind. Despite the overall downward spiral of our society, for believers in Jesus the best is yet to come as His love and rewards are everlasting for those who trust in Him. This is our reality. This world, as beautiful as it is, is not our permanent home. It is very temporary, while our future reward with the Lord is eternal.

As we witness the world around us becoming more wicked and sinful by the day, we, as Christians, must continually remind ourselves that our King is returning, and when He does, He will destroy the forces of evil and establish His righteous reign (2 Thessalonians 2). Whether we die or remain alive until Christ’s glorious return, our hope lies in the fact that our eternity is secure in Him.

“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” – Romans 10:9

Between now and then however, we can expect growing persecution if we reject the corrupt mandates of this world and remain faithful to Jesus. How do I know this? Because the Bible says so. One of many examples is recorded in Matthew 24. During His Olivet Discourse on the end times, Jesus foretold what would happen to His followers just prior to His return. It is one of the most overlooked passages of Scripture (perhaps intentionally so). Jesus warned,

…Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. — Matthew 24:9-13

In this passage Jesus is specifically addressing His end-time followers (those Jews and Gentiles who’ve accepted Jesus as their Savior/Messiah). Jesus wants us to be prepared and not be caught off guard.

Although the early Church faced horrendous persecution – with many being put to death by the Caesars of Rome, the Gnostics, and other Christ haters – I believe the coming persecution of the saints may be even more difficult and challenging in its impact on Western Christians. Believers in the early Church were hunted and persecuted from the very start; they never had it easy and knew there was a price to be paid for following Jesus. Christians in today’s developed nations, on the other hand, have had it so easy for so long that we’ve assumed our freedoms would continue indefinitely. We’ve taken for granted our freedom to worship and obey God. As a result, most of us are spiritually unprepared for the times ahead.

Because of this, we in the end-times Church must seriously evaluate our lives and make an extra effort to be truly surrendered to Christ. We must be willing to give up everything, including our lives if necessary, for the sake of Christ. But if we are called to make this kind of sacrifice, we can rest assured that Jesus will be with us, giving us supernatural serenity and fortitude to endure. As He promised, “Surely I will be with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:20b). And, “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5b). Come what may, we must be stayed in the fact that our eternity is secure in Christ. His presence will never leave us. This should give us an overwhelming sense of peace when we face unjust persecution and trials.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you…Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. — John 14:27

If we embrace this mindset with a steadfast determination, fully abandoning ourselves to Christ, then we can live joyfully even in deteriorating circumstances. The early Church did so; we can, and must do the same – by standing on the promises of God.

Please take this to heart as we consider some of the challenging matters of our time.

The Socialist Strategy

As the US approaches the most important Midterm elections of our lifetime, there is a growing concern among Conservatives that Socialists may not be willing to surrender control no matter the outcome. In fact, some – including myself – believe that the next four months (October – January) may be the most dangerous period for America since the Civil War.

Historically speaking, Socialists never surrender power once they’ve taken control. Instead, they begin to eliminate their opposition through a variety of forceful tactics. When studying the rise to power of Hitler, the Bolsheviks of Russia, Mao and his Chinese Communist Party, and more recently tyrants such as Hugo Chavez, Justin Trudeau and other dictator-like regimes, one consistently finds the targeted use of disinformation and an utter lack of truth telling. In fact, socialist dictators typically accuse their freedom-loving opposition of committing the very heinous acts that they themselves are guilty of. The current Biden administration has all the markings of such a regime. Their bold invasion of former President Trump’s home in Mar-a-Lago is proof that they will stop at nothing to consolidate their power.

The administration is “putting the hammer down” on all fronts. The invasion of Trump’s home was quite purposeful. They are flexing their muscles to send a message to everyone opposing them. Their message: “If we can do this to a former President, imagine what we can do to you!”

The recent landslide defeat of globalist Liz Cheney in Wyoming, in my opinion, is giving them further impetus to move quickly as they realize that more and more Americans are waking up. In response, the Biden strategists are doing some clever damage control. To maintain and strengthen their hold on America they cannot afford to lose much ground in the Midterms, so they are temporarily pulling back on several fronts while passing eleventh hour legislation to buy votes. For example, gas prices have come down 20 percent; Covid restrictions have been relaxed; the call for increased police funding has gone out; and the building of the border wall is resuming (in a very limited way – in Arizona). The administration is desperately attempting to look more moderate in some areas in order to appeal to the general public who will be heading to the polls soon.

Yet, at the same time, they are implementing more and more socialist policies by the week. Canceling the college debt of millions of young people will unfortunately secure the vote of the vast majority of those under age 35. And, passing the largest climate bill ever – under the misleading banner of “inflation reduction” – will serve to guarantee the loyalty of Green Socialists. None of these measures put our country in a better position. They are merely a ploy to buy as many votes as possible.

Another part of their strategy involves continuously attacking Donald Trump and falsely labeling those who voted for him – mainly conservative Republicans and Independents – as Fascists. Their hope in doing so, I believe, is to make people so sick and tired of hearing about Trump and his supporters that they will vote for liberal Democrats or globalist/left-leaning Republicans instead. Their strategy seems to be working to some degree, as the most reliable polls show that congressional races have tightened significantly since mid-summer.

Friends, we are in a war of core principles – an all-out clash between two diametrically-opposing worldviews. On the one side are those who support free enterprise, freedom of speech and worship, and the underlying foundation of a Judeo-Christian ethic. On the other side are those who’ve been seduced by a Marxist/globalist/anti-Christian philosophy rooted in teachings and propaganda originating from the demonic realm.

The future of our country and our very freedoms are at stake. This is why everyone of us MUST vote for those candidates who most closely represent our biblical values and are willing to stand firm for our freedoms. If by God’s grace we witness a landslide vote favoring constitutional Conservatives, it will be more difficult for the socialist powers that be to manipulate the results. In short, it would improve the chances of a more responsible/pro-Christian Congress taking office and slowing down the momentum of the current regime. However, it would not mean that we are out of the woods.

Let’s assume the Midterm vote produces a favorable outcome for Conservatives. How would the socialist powers react? After all, the new members of Congress won’t be seated until January. It would be awfully tempting for the current leadership to create a post-election crisis in order to declare Martial Law and remain in control.

We already know from leaks by patriots in the intelligence community that Biden’s puppet masters are targeting December 13th for the introduction of a national digital currency which would likely include the elimination of hard currency (physical cash). Biden signed an Executive Order (EO #14067) regarding digital assets on March 9th to pave the way for this new system.

It is my policy never to set dates, because doing so denies the God factor. He can intervene and push back the sinister plans of our adversaries; He has done so many times before. But regardless of how things play out over the next few months, it is prudent to be aware of what our adversaries are planning. It is also helpful for knowing how to pray into an important, potentially life-altering situation – and pray we must!

I urge every Christian reading this article to intercede on behalf of our nation, asking the Lord to intervene on three fronts: First, for a favorable outcome in the elections; second, to prevent Biden from declaring Martial Law; and third, to make it impossible to introduce a cashless system at this time. God responds to repentant hearts united in fervent prayer who are fully surrendered to Him. He is able to do the impossible!

Please, make a concerted effort to vote in November!

If the new all-digital system were permitted to move forward, it would represent the loss of any remaining privacy we have as citizens. Physical cash inherently provides a measure of freedom. Without it the globalist/socialist powers would know our every transaction, and therefore our every move. They would be able to control and dictate every facet of our lives, something they are itching to do; or more precisely, something Satan is trying to accomplish through his earthly vessels.

The new US monetary unit would link into a global system that would accept only electronic payments. Some economists believe that in order for such a system to be introduced and fully accepted, our current system would have to be intentionally collapsed, or at the very least be brought to a standstill via some type of economic/financial crisis. If this were to be the case in order for the new system to be rolled out this December, there would have to be a major shaking between now and then.

Regardless of how this system is eventually introduced, we know that the world is being pushed in this direction. More than 100 countries are currently exploring or piloting Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs). Again, these are all intended to be linked together into a global cashless payment system. This begs the question, What should we be doing with our liquid assets at this time?

Based on my conversations with well-informed financially astute Christians, the consensus is to spend your money on “smart purchases” – buying things that would come in handy during hard times and that would hold a reasonable value. Also, be generous toward the Lord’s work while you are able. (Many Christian organizations, including ours, have seen their funds decline over the summer months due to the impact of inflation on people’s pocketbooks.) Each person must seek the Lord earnestly on what specific steps they should be taking.

What Else to Expect

In other related developments, don’t expect the Covid agenda to completely disappear. It will make a comeback at the “right” time. In late August, the Rockefeller Foundation announced its involvement in a new behavioral study to promote Covid-19 vaccines. Here are some details.

According to researcher Yudi Sherman,

An initiative funded in part by the Rockefeller Foundation is investing an initial $7.2 million in behavioral research focused on convincing more people to get the Covid-19 injections, the foundation announced last week.

The initiative is called The Mercury Project, run by the Social Science Research Council (SSRC). In September 2021, the SSRC received a three-year $7.5 million grant from the Rockefeller Foundation “toward the costs of launching a research consortium to drive acceptance and uptake of Covid-19 vaccination efforts and provide insights to counter health mis- and dis- information.” The grant will fund research through August 31, 2024…

The foundation’s $7.5 million grant to SSRC for the Mercury Project remains the lion’s share of a total $10.25 million also granted by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Craig Newmark Philanthropies, and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.

“The Social Science Research Council (SSRC) announced it will provide an initial USD 7.2 million in direct research funds to 12 teams working in 17 countries in order to better understand how health mis- and disinformation spreads, how to combat it, and how to build stronger information systems, while increasing Covid-19 vaccination rates,” said the Rockefeller Foundation in a statement…

Each team on The Mercury Project will receive over $600,000 to research such topics as “Combatting health misinformation with community-crafted messaging: Developing a scalable community-driven approach in Latin America and the United States.” Teams will also study how to “harness influencers to counter misinformation” and censor dissenting viewpoints on social media through “Network-transforming interventions for reducing the spread of health misinformation online.”1

Along with their behavioral research, the Rockefeller Foundation has joined George Soros’ Open Society Institute (OSI) “in funding local community efforts to inject residents with the Covid-19 shots.” This summer, Frontline News discovered that the Orthodox Jewish community in Baltimore has unknowingly been the target of an injection campaign funded by the Rockefeller Foundation and the Open Society Institute. The campaign is run by fellow resident Laura Kurcfeld and her team of five vaccine evangelists, who are funded by VALUE Baltimore’s BMoreVaxxed initiative. VALUE Baltimore, in turn, is funded by the Rockefeller Foundation and OSI.2

Meanwhile, Israel’s Health Ministry now privately recognizes the long-term side effects of COVID shots. According to Neil Oliver of GBN News, who interviewed Dr. Yaffa Shir Raz and Professor Retsef Levy about a leaked Israel Health Ministry internal meeting discussing the effects of the Pfizer Covid-19 shot, the “side effects are neither mild nor short-term.”3 More and more studies have surfaced indicating the same. Where’s the media?

Along with the manipulation and cover-ups that have surrounded the COVID plandemic, we can expect more meddling, propaganda, and suppression of vital information on other important issues leading up to, and through, the US elections – by the same media forces who fueled the COVID crisis. For example, “According to a new policy crafted by Facebook parent company Meta, users will be prohibited from doubting the integrity of the 2022 midterm elections.”4

Meta President of Global Affairs, Nick Clegg, recently wrote,

With the 2022 US midterms on the horizon, we are setting out how our approach applies in this election cycle, which is largely consistent with the policies and safeguards we had in place during the 2020 US Presidential election.5

As you may be aware, Meta’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg spent $419 million to influence the 2020 US presidential election while censoring an explosive story by the New York Post exposing Hunter Biden’s dark activities. According to The Media Research Center, almost 50 percent of Biden voters knew nothing of Hunter’s laptop scandal at the time of the election and about 16 percent said they wouldn’t have voted for Joe Biden had they known.6 Facebook and the mainstream media, along with our intelligence agencies, participated in a mass coverup that resulted in Biden becoming president. Why wouldn’t they do the same in the current election cycle, given their pro-Marxist leanings?

On another front, some of these same social and mainstream media outlets are beginning a concerted push for a “meat tax.” According to climate catastrophists, the excrement produced by meat farms harms the weather. Said one article, “The environmental consequences [of meat production] are so profound that the world cannot meet climate goals and keep ecosystems intact without rich countries reducing their consumption of beef, pork and chicken.”7 The world has truly gone mad! Along with curtailing protein in our diets, this effort would severely penalize and possibly destroy the meat-farming industry. The socialist progressives now want to extend their control over the very food that we eat…if there is any food left.

A close friend of mine who operates a very large farm and regularly keeps me posted of developments in agriculture – including the behind the scenes political manipulation – sent me this message a few days ago:

70 percent of Europe’s fertilizer plants have been taken offline (closed down); the reason being given: too high of natural gas prices. Without nitrogen fertilizer there is no food…They don’t have to cut farmers by 30 percent [to achieve their agenda], they just have to cut the nitrogen fertilizer. And that’s what they’re going to do! Starving people will do whatever they are told, including taking digital ID.

This brings me to the related Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) situation, which I wrote about in our Summer issue (article titled “Brace Yourselves”). The impending shortage of DEF, a substance needed to run all diesel trucks built since 2010, is quite real. Fortunately there have been enough stockpiles of DEF in the US to keep trucks running for now. However, as stockpiles dwindle, major supply chain issues will result – including the challenge of getting food to stores. We are the world’s third largest importer of Urea fertilizer, from which DEF is produced. Unless the US is able (and willing) to significantly step up its domestic production of Urea and DEF, we’ll be facing shortages of all kinds soon. I suspect this crisis is being held off until after the Midterms and may come to fruition in 2023 as part of the globalist agenda to weaponize food.

The goal of the leading Marxist globalists, I believe, is to push Americans to the very brink, either to the point of complete surrender or to an internal armed conflict between the Left and the Right. If we reach a place where such a conflict occurs – which is becoming increasingly likely – our foreign enemies would undoubtedly take notice and hit us at our weakest moment. This would be the end of America as we know it. While we can take comfort in the fact that the future of Christians is spiritually secure in Christ, only divine intervention can save and restore America – the physical nation – at this late stage.

Final Thoughts

As we move forward, the possibilities for manipulation by demonically-inspired forces seem endless. Between the growing division in our country, the possible escalation of foreign wars, the prospect of economic upheaval with energy and food shortages, the future impacts of Transhumanism, and the outright spiritual deception coming from religious leaders, there is much to be discerning about. The days are indeed evil and we must be prepared, especially mentally and spiritually, in order to endure and be effective witnesses for Jesus in the time that remains.

Jesus said that the lives of those who believe in Him should stand out as beacons of truth and hope in a sin-laden world. He told His followers, “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden” (Matthew 5:14). In other words, as Christians we are to let our lights shine brightly to illuminate a dark world, all the more as we near His return.

There are many souls still to be led to Christ – individuals looking for hope in all the wrong places who have not yet recognized their need for Jesus. We are His ambassadors who must show the way. Everything we do should point to Jesus and bring honor to Him. May He empower us to be His faithful representatives in these times as we walk in humble obedience, proclaiming the good news that because of Jesus Christ, we have hope. ■

The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knoweth them that trust in Him.

— Nahum 1:7

Have You Trusted Jesus as Savior?

God loves mankind – his greatest creation. His perfect will is for all to be saved and none to be lost (John 3:15-18, 5:24). However, He makes clear that only those who have accepted (believed in) His divine Son, Jesus Christ, will be spared from the punishment of hell and will spend eternity with Him (Matthew 10:28 & II Peter 2:4-10).

If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, you must believe that Jesus is who He says He is and that He paid the penalty for your sins with His death on a cross. Accept His free gift of eternal life which He can offer because He conquered death through His resurrection. Then, with the help of His Holy Spirit, turn from your old ways of living (repent) and follow Him. Take a moment and tell the Lord that you desire to receive Him into your life and ask His Holy Spirit to dwell inside of you and lead you into all truth.

Once you have settled this most important matter, be devoted in your relationship with the Lord. Spend time with Him by reading His Word (the Bible) and talking to Him (praying) daily. As you grow in His grace, He will direct you and open doors showing you how best to serve Him. With Jesus at the helm, your life and eternity are secure in His care. No situation or power of the enemy will be able to separate you from the love of Christ!

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?… No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

—Romans 8:35, 37-39
